What I Hope Remains with Readers After Experiencing the I AM Journey
Whenever we share deeply personal work with the world, a quiet question eventually arises:
What do I hope remains?
Not simply what readers remember about events, chronology, or personal history, but what lingers within the heart after the final page is turned. What continues echoing gently within someone long after the reading itself has ended.
As I reflect on the unfolding I AM series, my answer feels both simple and deeply personal.
I hope readers feel less alone.
This body of work was never created as a declaration of certainty or a spiritual map others are expected to follow. Rather, it emerged as an offering—a living exploration of identity, grief, music, spirituality, love, memory, healing, and remembrance gathered through lived human experience.
Like many lives, mine has contained both light and shadow.
There have been seasons of belonging and seasons of fracture. Moments of spiritual comfort and moments of profound questioning. Experiences of tenderness, fear, loss, awakening, beauty, and becoming. Yet beneath every chapter and every phase of this unfolding journey, one quiet truth continued returning:
Love was never absent.
If something endures after engaging these writings, I hope it is not doctrine or polished certainty, but permission.
Permission to question without shame.
Permission to grieve honestly.
Permission to heal slowly.
Permission to live authentically and trust the sacredness of one’s own unfolding path.
Too often we imagine spirituality requires perfection, certainty, or unwavering faith. My experience has been quite different. Life has taught me that Spirit often meets us most tenderly within vulnerability, longing, honesty, and human imperfection.
I also hope readers carry gentleness toward themselves.
We can be remarkably harsh with our own stories—judging wounds, regretting choices, or believing we must become someone else before deserving peace, belonging, or love. Yet I no longer believe healing begins through self-condemnation.
I believe it begins through remembrance.
The title I AM reflects this realization deeply.
That beneath fear, shame, grief, striving, identity, and all the roles we carry through life, something enduring remains untouched. A sacred worthiness. A quiet inner truth. A love older and deeper than fear itself.
And perhaps this is only the beginning.
The I AM journey was never intended as a single offering, but as an unfolding exploration of what it means to live, awaken, grieve, love, remember, and become fully human. My hope is that readers may discover pieces of their own story reflected somewhere within these pages and within the offerings still to come.
If someone closes these writings sensing—even briefly—that they are held, enough, deeply loved, and never truly alone, then this journey has already served its purpose.
And that is the echo I most hope remains.
